Web based software

Small businesses wanting to access their information outside of the office have two choices. They can either use Sesmee bespoke software installed and running locally on their pc or laptop and access data or information held on the web or the tailored software and data can be installed remotely on a web server. 

Software running locally has the advantage of being able to run more complex calculations or display graphical charts. Updates to the software can be downloaded from the web and easily installed. 

Software running on a web server has the advantage that no software is installed on the local workstation. Customers access the application using an internet browser. The software and database are installed on a host web server. Updates to the application software or database need only to be installed on the web server each time a change is made.
